The Arkansas River Blues Society is proud to
announance Bluesfest 2000 at Northshore Riverwalk in North Little
Rock, AR. The event begins September 30, 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. and
Sunday, 10:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. bringing two days of full flavored
blues. For the earlybirds, the gate opens at 10:00 a.m..
The stage features headliners throughout the
region, as well as Canada. Saturday's event includes Scott Keeton,
Steve Pryor, Chris Cameron, Michael Burks, Max Taylor and the
Bluecatz, John Craig and Sherman Robertson. Sunday's event headliners
includes Wes Jeans, Reba Russell, Jim Suhler, The Bluebirds, and the
Rockin Highliners.
Special Attractions includes a special guest
appearance by Mayor Hayes, the
Arkansas Twisters, and Sharp Dunaway being the
Master of Ceremonies. There's door prizes ranging from the performers
latest C.D.'s, autographed T-Shirts, to the guiatars.
Saturday night an autographed white Squier, by
Fender, Stratacaster and Sunday a
Starburst Doubroe.
Admission to the festival is $12.00 per day or
$18.00 for two days. However, bringing two or more canned goods to
the entrance gate.will receive a $2.00 discount (benefiting the
Arkansas Food Bank). Anyone 48" and under has free admission.
Advanced tickets may be purchased for $10.00 or $15.00 for two days
