For three simple reasons:
(1)Our festival listings are easily found in the search engines. Maybe that is how you found our site in the first place. If you typed in Tennessee Festivals, etc. it is very probable that our site came up in the first few lisings. Can you say the same about your individual site?
(2)It is affordable. The cost is only $5.95 per month. That is less than $75.00 per year. A small "one time" ad in a national magazine would cost much more than that. The magazine would probably be read once and then tossed. You have your web site running 24/7 and your link on our web site will also be running 24/7.
(3)Adding your link is quite simple. We use Pay Pal to do our credit card processing. Pay Pal is a well regarded credit card processor, which does a lot of processing for eBay. You will need to set up a free Pal Pal account, but that is easy, if you don't already have one. Simply go to paypal.com.
NOTE: You do not have to subscribe for a full year. You can subscribe for as many months as you like. You might want to subscribe for three or four months before your festival. Then you can go to Pay Pal and unsubscribe. But you might want to let your link run continously as it costs so little. Some people might come to your site after the festival is over and make a note to themselves to come to your festival in the future.
